After watching the Crash Course videos on Slaughterhouse-Five, I decided to give it another look because I think the last time I read it, I was in high school and I don’t want to talk about how long ago that was or how old that makes me.
ANYWAY. Slaughterhouse-Five. Vonnegut. Billy Pilgrim. Tralfamadore. So it goes. I’m excited to discover Vonnegut’s books still have the ability to sneak into my brain and force me to think about them pretty much incessantly, so I’ve gone ahead and found some criticism. I’ll probably revisit Cat’s Cradle and God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater after this, so join me! We’ll have a mini-Vonnegut book club.
The Meaninglessness of Coming Unstuck in Time
Vonnegut’s Self-Projections: Symbolic Characters and Symbolic Fiction
